Meshbone at Graspop music festival
A Meshbone wireless mesh network was deployed at one of Belgium's largest music festivals, the Graspop Metal Meeting (Jun 24-27 2010). The Meshbone network's primarily use was to connect the handheld scanners at the ticketing counters with the authentication back-ends. A total combined amount of 150.000 barcodes were scanned over the course of 4 days, resulting in a never-before seen absence of large crowds queueing at the entrance booths. The Meshbone network was easily deployed across the scanning posts, and required only one single wired network connection to authenticate the scanned barcodes. Thanks to the performance of the scanning application, Graspop set a new benchmark in ticket scanning for itself and any other festival!
What we do
We provide a unique wireless mesh software platform for 3rd parties to deploy on their preferred devices.
Which markets
Meshbone wireless mesh networks can be deployed in a variety of markets, and for a wide range of vertical applications. Here are some examples.
How mesh works
A wireless mesh network alleviates the needs for cabling by allowing access point devices to talk to each other wirelessly.
